Arulmigu Periyamalai Sivan Temple is an ancient hill temple located in Injimedu near Vandavasi. Built during the Chola period in 1126 A.D., the temple sits 200 feet above ground and is reached through 100 sacred steps. It is known for its divine power, peaceful surroundings, and spiritual energy.

Bus Routes

From Vandavasi

Regular buses are available from Vandavasi to Pernamallur and nearby villages. From there, local transport or auto can be used to reach Injimedu.

From Pernamallur

Frequent town buses and share autos are available to Injimedu. Travel time is approximately 15–20 minutes.

From Tiruvannamalai

Take a bus to Vandavasi or Pernamallur, then continue via local bus or taxi to Injimedu temple.
